Electrical Site Manager
Region Large Projects drives some of Skanska's most significant construction and infrastructure projects, impacting people's daily lives and shaping the future of society. We are now looking to welcome more dedicated site managers to our teams. You will start with us at Slussen, and further down the line, more large projects await in the Stockholm area.
Do you want to be part of building something that truly makes a difference? Then you are warmly welcome to join us!
Electrical Site Manager
As a site manager focused on electrical work, you contribute both engagement and expertise within your area of responsibility.
We offer you varied tasks where you combine practical work in production with administrative duties. You will be a key person in the project, responsible for building a strong and cohesive team while also contributing to the overall success of the project. Teamwork and collaboration are crucial for success here, and we highly value both.
You will, among other things:
- Be responsible for safety, coordination, and electrical operations for electrical installations/construction power, including electrical safety during work on or near electrical installations.
- Plan, lead, and coordinate electrical work and involved professions to ensure that the work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Perform practical work such as installation, service, troubleshooting, and manage disruptions, faults, and incidents.
- Ensure that laws, regulations, and internal rules are followed, and keep documentation about the electrical installation up to date.
- Participate in meetings and conduct safety rounds as needed.
- Coordinate transport and purchases and manage invoices.
Safety is important to us at Skanska. Therefore, we have set a high goal: Zero workplace accidents. To achieve this goal, our work is permeated by good planning, work preparations, communication, and risk assessments. We believe it is essential that our employees return home healthy and unharmed from work.
Communicative Site Manager with Experience in Construction Projects
We are looking for someone who is communicative and proactive and leads by example in safety, responsibility, and planning. You are flexible and have quality as a central factor in the way you work.
The position requires:
- At least three years of experience in site management within electrical work on large construction and infrastructure projects.
- At least two years of experience as an electrician.
- Education in construction and civil engineering.
- Driver's license (B).
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is a significant plus if you have experience or training that enhances both your own and the team's safety in everyday work. If you have general electrical authorization (AL), it is meritorious, as well as if you have lift training or knowledge in electrical safety, such as ESA or equivalent. Fall protection training and certificates for hot work are also seen as valuable assets. All of this helps us work safely, professionally, and together create a secure work environment where everyone can feel safe and well-prepared.
We focus on safety and a good work environment and want to work with inclusive teams, where we see that you share our values.
